We try and modify negative thinking or behavioral patterns that cause you to relapse into physical, psychological, or emotional dysfunctions. We pave the way for lasting resolutions through a better balance between the Conscious, the Unconscious, and your vital energy.

Starting therapy, I believe, puts you halfway to live more fully. You have listened to the part of yourself that wants to get better. All that remains is to find the therapist to help you continue your journey.

 Humanistic counselling

I graduated as a Therapeutic Counsellor in the UK in in 2013 and am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. (BACP). I work with young people and adults from all walk of life.
 
I practice a person centred humanistic approach, working with my clients from what they brought in the session. Active listening, in the absence of any judgment, accompanied by unconditional benevolence are essential components of a fruitful therapeutic relationship.

On these principles of Rogerian Psychotherapy, I integrate approaches and tools from transactional, existential or behavioral analysis (CBT) according to the problem of the session. I also use techniques inspired by hypnosis and positive psychology to go further towards the emotional and psychological autonomy of my clients.

Appointments

I work online with Zoom, Skype, Whatsapp or Google meeting and offer in-person sessions in  Hove, UK where I live.

Each session lasts between 50 minutes and costs £60 (or £40 for students and unemployed) ,
To be paid by bank transfer before or just after the session.

Student support

Do you suffer from depression, social anxiety? Do you struggle with your mental health ? Do you feel different from others? Do you suffer from a lack of organization or abnormal procrastination? you find difficult to take care of yourself ? 

It is not easy to be young today. Arriving or returning to university can be anxiety-provoking. Independence, social risk-taking, revision, exam stress and fear of the future. Everything can be complicated and create paralyzing or counterproductive fears, crippling academic efforts.

To help you through, over or around this I offer you a weekly mentoring session to help you stay motivated, regain confidence, overcome your anxieties or depression. Together, we take stock of your academic deadlines, your psychological and emotional state to gradually overcome what is holding you back from your studies or simply being happy. 

As a Rogerian therapist, I use active and benevolent listening to help you formulate your thoughts and your psychological experience. I use transactional analysis, behavioral and existential and positive therapy tools to help you develop confident autonomy. 

I also work with hypersensitive and neuro diverse people to help them appreciate their difference and value their distinctive traits, improving their quality of life in our neurotypical world. 

 Who I am

I was born in France, where I went to school and completed a MSc. International Economics. I have lived and worked in Europe, South and South East. Asia and the UK, in the area of human rights, advocacy and as a teacher. My training as a psychotherapist is the culmination of this journey.    

Today I live in England, and am mother to two young persons at University. I work as a counsellor and with students and young professionals as a mental health mentor.

I support them in their journey as long as they need to learn how to manage their mental wellbeing, better organize, stay motivated and achieve their academic and professional goals in these formative and decisive transition periods.
