It is not easy to be young today. Arriving or returning to university can be anxiety-provoking. Independence, social risk-taking, revision, exam stress and fear of the future. Everything can be complicated and create paralyzing or counterproductive fears, crippling academic efforts.
I have been working with Julie for a few months on difficulties in re-establishing happy romantic relationships with the people I meet. We explored various sensitive topics in a different ways. Julie's empathetic listening allowed me to approach difficult intimate problems through new perspectives and with more compassion. I became aware of behaviors and attitudes that harmed me and that could be changed, with the right energy rebalancing support. I was then able to handle them differently.
I
I went to see Julie to talk about negative thoughts and anxiety caused by fear of the future, especially after the Covid lockdowns. With her, I was able to share my relationship difficulties, my lack of self-confidence. We searched and found the causes and then found how to manage them in everyday life. Julie can tackle all topics with her tools. Which, with its interpersonal qualities and explanatory approach helped me to prioritize and define specific goals to work further. I love going to see her regularly just for a check-in too.
